WELCOME
One O'clock Gate is an independent café, bar and kitchen located in the heart of the village of Dinas Powys, just four miles from the centre of Cardiff.
​
Named after the famous local landmark and only a stone's throw from the village centre, our newly renovated venue is located adjacent to the picturesque golf course and along the route of the fabulous salmon leaps walk.
Our open relaxed space is the perfect spot to meet for a coffee, lunch or an evening get together. If you're planning an event we have a range of packages available that can be specifically tailored to meet your individual requirements.
BAR & CAFÉ

Enjoy our full range of barista coffees using locally roasted Hard Lines coffee beans alongside our selection of organic loose leaf tea and range of freshly baked cakes, pastries and sweet treats.
Our well stocked bar has variety of tap beers, refreshing ciders, local craft ales and a wide range of specially selected spirits. You will undoubtedly catch us shaking up a cocktail or two...

Our carefully compiled wine list consists of a range of natural, organic and sustainably produced wines that have been individually selected to match both our menu and the atmosphere in which they are to be enjoyed.

There is no requirement to eat with us and you are more than welcome to call in for some relaxed drinks and cocktails whilst soaking up the atmosphere.
KITCHEN
Our globally inspired Asian Fusion menu may be small in stature but it certainly delivers on flavour. You can view a sample of our current menu and the range of dishes that are often available here.

Our kitchen is open for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for evening service Wednesday through to Saturday. Our café & bar remain open at all times during our opening times.

We will always do our best to accommodate walk ins but on busy nights we can be fully booked so to avoid disappointment you can reserve a table here.

We have intentionally kept our core menu small so we can mix things up and with a fresh selection of ever changing specials. Be sure to check out our specials menu or keep an eye on our social media for each exciting tasty release.

We love to create bold, vibrant dishes that are always prepared fresh to order and we take great pride in working with our local independent suppliers, who help us sustainably source great quality ingredients.
